About Me
My name is Aaron Johnston and I live in Adelaide South Australia.
After completing school in 2003, I was unsure what to do next, and so I worked full-time in retail. During this time I started Phatt Dwarf Designs, this project provided me with a hobby and a way to further my creative skills. It was in the first year of Phatt Dwarf Designs that I decided to go to University, I just needed to find a course that fitted in with what I enjoyed.
In 2005 I began my tertiary education at the University of South Australia studying a Bachelor of Information Technology in Computing and Multimedia. But this course wasn't for me. I decided to transfer into another course, and so I began my Bachelor of Media Studies degree. Throughout the past few years I have further developed my skills in many aspects of design.
The programs that I have now become most familiar with include:
After completing my studies at the end of 2010, I was given an opportunity to join a small production crew to develop a news and current affairs program for channel 44 Adelaide. The program "Inside Adelaide" debuted on the 4th February 2011. The production crew is made up of both past and present UniSA journalists and film students. "Inside Adelaide" airs each Friday at 8.30pm on channel 44.
I am also in the process of seeking full time employment that utilises the skills I have learned.
